The DB User and Command/Verb entities are stored in upper case regardless of how the user enters them. The Object/Table name entity is stored as lower case. Thus, we can create a filter to search with the corresponding case and get all activity regardless of how it was entered.

This approach is ok, but should be consistent across all entities (either Upper or Lower case). Also, the corresponding groups should also be made to conform to the appropriate case!
